Scars are a painful part of life (and hopefully mean an interesting story to tell). Whether they’re from acne, surgery, or accidents, scars can make unwanted appearances anywhere on the body. One of the most prominent scars found on the face are acne scars. They can look like depressed or uneven areas, raised red scars, or small indentations in the skin called “ice pick” scars. We treat these scars with fractional laser treatments, which offer amazing results with little to no downtime.

In addition to fractional laser treatments, we also have dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane, which can be used in combination to help raise depressed acne scars for a smoother skin appearance. The most common type of scar, surgical and accident scars, often present as keloids, hypertrophic, or depressed areas with or without redness. Depending on the type and severity, these scars are generally treated with fractional laser resurfacing.
